Episode 58
Embracing the Winter Solstice with Mia Tarduno
In this week's episode, Stacy and Sam talk with Mia Tarduno about how to embrace the darkness during the Winter Solstice and the winter months.
Mia is a Women’s Mentor, Yoga Instructor, and Women’s Gathering Facilitator. Movement, creation, and gatherings have always been a part of Mia’s life. As she became older, Mia realized that many women were experiencing discontent and disease that came from the times they felt alone, disconnected, and like they just don’t quite belong. When she found out how to work with our bodies instead of against them, everything in her views of health, relationships, work, and passions changed. Mia then created “Move Create Radiate” to highlight the healing power of getting back to our natural cycles through yoga, breathwork, art, and gatherings. She’s found that by unearthing the taboo conversations, we can start to ward away shame, guilt, and loneliness to create more connected communities.
